Delivery/Take-Out Chicken Wing Franchise Executes Plan to Increase Brand Presence Globally
Atlanta - In this economy, many chains are concerned about a decrease in franchisee lead generation. Not Wing Zone, as the 100-unit chicken wing delivery/take-out specialist and the nation’s authority of flavor and ambassadors of sauce has announced its plans to extend not only its nationwide brand presence, but its global appeal with the hiring of established and credible international developer Hair Parra.
“We looked at the reach of Buffalo chicken wings globally, and frankly, the world has not had the privilege of experiencing both the product and sauces,” said Matt Friedman, Wing Zone’s CEO/Founder. “We are dedicated to giving the world a taste of our product. There is no better time to launch our international growth efforts than now, as the down economy gives us an advantage as a thriving chain.”
Parra will head Wing Zone’s international efforts as Wing Zone’s Vice President of International Development.
“When recruiting the perfect match for helping us maintain consistent branding and popularity on a global scale, there was no one better fit for the position than Hair Parra,” Friedman said. “His proven track record and established relationships will be vital in Wing Zone’s international growth, as we build connections with top-tier international entrepreneurs.”
Prior to joining Wing Zone, Parra led internationally focused efforts for such chains as Domino’s Pizza, Benihana and Rotelli’s Pizza. Additionally, he was the lead in taking Papa John’s overseas and is credited with building its brand globally. For Wing Zone, Parra will now focus on international franchise sales, construction, operations, and overall support for all international growth and development.
“I have been very selective of the brands I work with,” he said. “Wing Zone has an appeal that should be experienced on a global scale. The world will be treated to this great U.S. brand in 2009 and for many years to come.”
Friedman said Wing Zone’s premiere efforts will first center on the Caribbean, Mexico, South America, and Central America.
