Letter from the Founders

Our story of how Wing Zone was created is a classic example of a simple and unique idea that was turned into a successful business by two young entrepreneurs

We are very proud of Wing Zone’s history.  Our start came from humble beginnings as you will soon find out, but the lessons and life experiences we learned in our early years have made Wing Zone the thriving organization it is today. 

Adam Scott and I grew up in different regions of the country.   I am a native New Yorker, and my exposure and love for buffalo wings came during my teenage years in upstate New York.  Adam, born in the Bahamas, grew up mainly in South Florida and had a flare for unique sauces and flavors.

We met in college at the University of Florida, and immediately became friends.  As members of the same fraternity, Pi Kappa Phi, we shared similar interests like Florida Gator Football and Basketball as well as a future dream to start a successful business.  As our friendship grew so did our ability to form a successful business partnership.

Our dream of creating a unique and successful business came earlier than we could have ever imagined.  Wing Zone was founded while we were students at the University of Florida in 1991.

The one core value Adam and I share to this day is our pure desire and determination to make Wing Zone the very best organization.  We have surrounded ourselves with a talented group of corporate staff members, valued suppliers, and hard-working and loyal franchisees that create the Wing Zone Family.
